There are a wide range of Maximum Impact Programs available to business franchise applicants to help in developing the toolkit of experience, skills and leadership needed to prepare and compete for future growth and prosperity within the company.

Maximum Impact programs offer different instructional methods to suit your learning style and schedule. Opportunities can include formal project management and service training as well as technical learning, special task assignments, mentoring and/or coaching, on-the-project-training, and participation on special marketing and promotional teams.

Program components include: 

  • Leadership and business management Training.

  • Trade Skill Training.

  • Project management.

  • Attendance at Leadership and Business Development Conferences.

  • Rotational Assignments.

  • Marketing and sales.

Effective Business Communications 

This Maximum Impact program is an exciting opportunity for franchise candidates to learn strategic thinking, and also for early entrepreneur career individuals to gain experience in the fields of internal, external and visual communications in preparation for future leadership roles within Mariposa Painting & Decorating Canada. Program Details

Maximum Impact is a full-time, one to two-year rotational training program that delivers a diverse entrepreneurial experience. Immersed in the inner workings of Mariposa as both a brand and a company. Franchise candidates develop extensive, entrepreneur career-building skills through a variety of training and development opportunities. For marketing and sales, a franchise candidate will spend one year growing their expertise in one or more franchise operations, when and where they will rotate roles in the team working relationship that will include: employee leadership and communications, management leadership and communications, community relations, social media, marketing and sales communications and media relations. For visual communicators, a franchise candidate will spend two months broadening their skills in visual storytelling, decorative design, branding, emotional identification, self-promotion through photo and video content production. The goal is to prepare high-performing participants for an accelerated path to leadership within Mariposa Painting & Decorating Canada. During the program, franchise candidates also have the opportunity to participate in two leadership development conferences and network with peers from non-Franchise disciplines across Mariposa Group Canada. 

Who Can Participate

We accept applicants with relevant experience who have track records of strong ethics and working performance, and decent communications skills, leadership abilities and practical perspective to quickly learn and gain valuable experience as a tradesperson. Applicants should be prepared to commit to a one to two year training cycle. Maximum Impact will most likely include two rotations over 24 months, although will not require mandatory relocation. Ideal franchise candidates are flexible, enthusiastic and possess a sincere interest in evolving their capabilities.

The Master Tradecraft Training

This program is an exciting experience for enthusiastic, and technical thinking franchise candidates and early-entrepreneur career individuals to gain the experience and exposure they'll need to prepare for future success within leadership roles.

Program Details

In an intensive one-year rotational program consisting of one or two rotations, when and where franchise candidates grow their technical expertise working with master trade craftsmen/women, while being immersed in the inner workings of Mariposa's leading franchise business operations. Through coaching, mentoring and training with some of our best painters and decorators and franchise business leaders, franchise candidates develop technical and leadership skills that will position themselves on the fast track to leadership opportunities. During the program, a franchise candidate also receives an opportunity to attend leadership and business development training conferences.

The program is open to men and women who possess the proper attitude and who can extend themselves with both determination and commitment to effectively learn.
